Google is a global leader in technology, known for its innovation and forward-thinking solutions. Spanning an impressive 45,000 square feet, we are tackling an interesting and complex technical challenge: transitioning from Power over Ethernet (PoE) light fixtures to a raw power control system. This involves a detailed and methodical process that requires careful planning and execution. Our work begins with the identification of all Existing raceway and cable routes. We carefully document the current routing, ensuring no steps are missed. Next, we remove the existing PoE cables, which require precise handling to avoid disruption to any other systems. With this cleared, we move on to the crucial step of marking the new route for power distribution, ensuring the system will be efficient and sustainable. This data is then translated into a detailed CAD design, allowing for a visual representation of the updated routing plan. The CAD design is shared with the client for review and approval, ensuring that every aspect aligns with their requirements and expectations. Once the client gives the green light, we proceed with the implementation phase. Throughout this project, precision and efficiency are key. The transition from PoE to raw power control is not only a technical shift but also a step toward improving the overall functionality and reliability of the space's electrical system. Every step is executed with the utmost care to maintain the highest standards of safety, performance, and sustainability, reflecting our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for even the most demanding projects.
